Book Concept Review

Whether you are writing memoir or other nonfiction, the concept for a book is the foundational starting place. A publishing professional’s review of your book concept can be an invaluable help to make sure you’re on target with your topic and how it’s being presented in the current market. I offer quality book concept reviews for a one-time fee of $175.

A book concept review can potentially save you a tremendous amount of effort—and frustration. You don’t want to spend 12 months or more writing a book or develop a book proposal for a concept that’s not likely to be salable to a publisher, an agent, or to the general public.

An example: A man who survived the brutal four-year Khmer Rouge in the 1970s wants to write a book about his experiences. He wants to know this: will a book about an important historical period that occurred more than 30 years ago have a place in today’s publishing market? I’ll answer that for him and also address aspects of his story that could be drawn forward to give it timely relevance.

After a book concept review you, too, will have concrete next steps to take, whether it means pursuing, adjusting, or abandoning the idea.
